Warm Hearts, Warm Homes
The cold season is challenging for everyone, but for disabled people, it’s even tougher. Rising costs and limited support mean more people are struggling to keep warm, stay fed, and live independently.
This winter, the challenges facing disabled people are greater than ever. According to our recent report on the cost of living crisis, disabled individuals are among the hardest hit, with many struggling to afford the basics like heating, food, and essential care.
Rising energy bills, cuts to support and the increasing costs of living make it difficult for disabled people to stay warm, safe, and independent. For many, this winter isn’t just about staying comfortable - it’s about survival.
