As part of ongoing work to co-design a new offer for day, employment and volunteering support, West Sussex County Council are holding two in person meeting for service users focussed on supporting people’s employment and volunteering journey.
The meetings are aimed at people with support needs related to learning disabilities, autism and acquired brain injuries. They would particularly like to speak to people who could be or have been supported by their supported employment offer.
The events will focus on the whole employment and volunteering journey and think about all the support that people could access including universal services.
After introduction to the morning, discussion groups with a facilitator will discuss:
- Preparing for Employment/volunteering,
- Finding Employment/Volunteering
- Maintaining Employment/Volunteering
