On Saturday 26 November, the residents of Shoreham were treated to the festive delights of The Rotary Club of Shoreham and Southwick’s annual Christmas Fair, all in aid of Independent Lives and St. Barnabas House.
The Shoreham Centre played host to a myriad of magical Christmas goodies, arts and crafts, and a terrific tombola.
There was also an Independent Lives information stall, spreading the word about our important work supporting disabled people and carers.
Cara Locke, Fundraising Officer, said:
“Community events like these make such a difference to our fundraising efforts. Thank you to the Rotary Club for choosing us to raise money for this Christmas.
We’d also like to extend our huge thanks to Valerie, the organiser, and all the Independent Lives staff who helped on the day and before the event. We couldn’t have done this without you.”
In total, we raised over £600, and every penny will go toward our vision of creating a fairer society where everyone can participate and has the opportunity to fulfil their potential.
If you would like to, you can donate to Independent Lives through our donation page.
