Communications and PR officer
Salary: £22,105.00
Hours: 30 hours per week mon-fri, pattern to be agreed

Overview:
Purpose of the role
This is an exciting new role!
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Communications and PR Officer to enhance our brand presence and oversee internal and external communications.
This role is ideal for a proactive and creative individual with a passion for public relations, media engagement, and communications. It will require market scanning to understand emerging themes in social care, excellent inhouse communication with heads of service to manage commissioned pieces of work and close attention to detail to ensure our brand and reputational value are maintained.
PA pages officer
Salary: £25,789.00
Hours: 35 hours per week Monday-Friday between 9 – 5 (pattern to be agreed)

Location: This is a hybrid role working between our office based in Worthing and home working
Reporting to: Head of Direct Payments and Personalisation
Overview:
This is an exciting new role!
We are seeking a dynamic and focussed individual to lead our development and maintenance of PA Pages.
A niche website register designed for Personal Assistants (PA) and Direct Payment employers to connect. The website is highly complex and requires a key eye for detail, adopting and adhering to the high standards set by Independent Lives along with ensuring brand commitment.
New content will be required to keep the site lively and fresh. Training information and a range of information data will change regularly and timely edits will be required.
The PA Pages officer acts as the custodian of the site and will liaise with our specialist IT developers.
Volunteer fundraising assistant
Salary: Voluntary role - reasonable expenses claimable
Hours: As required for events. 6-10 hours per month (when events are taking place)
Type of contract: Volunteer
Location: Worthing and events in the surrounding areas
Reporting to: Fundraising officer
Overview:

Role Overview: As a Volunteer Fundraising Assistant, you will:
- Support us at local community fundraising events and charity awareness campaigns.
- Use your knowledge of Independent Lives to promote our services, engage with the public, and signpost families to the vital support we offer.

PA workforce development officer
Salary: £14,742 pro rata
Hours: 20 per week
Type of contract: Permanent
Location: This is a hybrid role working between our office based in Worthing, home working and with travel required around West Sussex, mainly Chichester.
Reporting to: Head of Direct Payments and Personalisation
Overview:
An opportunity has arisen to join the information and advice team here at Independent Lives in the role of PA Workforce Development Officer.
The main purpose of the role will be to stimulate and develop the PA market by developing infrastructure to recruit, train and retain PAs, with a focus on self-employed PAs.
The successful candidate will reduce the complexity of becoming and working as a self-employed PA by delivering information, advice and guidance provided by HMRC and Skills for Care, and develop a network of skilled and trained PAs looking for work, to ensure people have greater choice and control over their care and support needs.
This role will suit you if you are passionate about improving the support and personalised care that is provided locally and that a choice of PA is available to all. Ensuring everyone is in safe hands.
Care service administrator
Salary: £24,570 per annum
Hours: 37.5 Hours Per Week
Type of contract: Permanent
Location: The role is office based in Worthing, West Sussex
Reporting to: Head of Care
Overview:
The overall purpose of the role is to provide high quality accurate administrative support across all areas of the Care Service, ensuring that best practice and internal processes are followed at all times. This includes being the first point of call for queries via phone and email, triaging these and distributing to the correct person accordingly.
Healthcare support worker
Salary: £22,932 per annum
Hours: 35 hours per week – various shifts including weekend work and evenings as required. Hours to suit so please apply if you are able to work any of the available hours.

Reporting to: Field Care Supervisor

The overall purpose of the role is to provide our customers with support in their own homes, to enable them to live independently with choice and control. Independent Lives Care Service provides a high quality, person-centred service to its users, and this starts with our fantastic Healthcare Support Workers.
